Four men stole two diamond necklaces valued at $15,759 from a jewelry store at Arundel Mills mall in Hanover Saturday night.
At around 7 p.m., the burglars entered Royal Jewelers, reached over the counter, stole the necklaces from a display case and ran out of the store, Anne Arundel County Police said. Officers could not find the suspects during a search after the theft.
No injuries were reported.
Police provided the following descriptions of the burglars:
Suspect 1 is a 5 foot 8 inch black man who weighs about 160 pounds and is in his 40s. He was wearing glasses, a dark baseball cap, a dark hoodie and blue jeans.
Suspect 2 is a 6 foot tall black man in his 40s who weighs about 210 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue baseball cap, navy blue button shirt and blue jeans with a horseshoe symbol on both rear pockets.
Suspect 3 is a 6 foot tall black man who weighs about 270 pounds and was wearing a hoodie.
Suspect 4 is a 5 foot 9 inch black male who weighs 230 pounds and was wearing a white and black checkered button shirt.
