Three people were injured in a boating accident in Glen Burnie on Tuesday afternoon when their boat struck a buoy marker, according to the Anne Arundel fire department.

Emergency crews were first called to the 1700 block of Marley Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m. for a report of a boat striking the marker and people in the water, said Lt. Keith Hamilton, a fire department spokesman.
