Anne Arundel County volunteer briefs

Ann Arrundell County Historical Society

The society needs volunteers interested in county history to act as docents at the Benson-Hammond House in Linthicum or as research aides at the Historical and Genealogical Research Center in Glen Burnie. Docents at the Benson-Hammond House will interpret life on a 19th-century truck farm and present the society's collection of historical artifacts. Research aides will help manage the society's documents, photograph collections and assist visitors with inquiries. Hours are flexible, and training will be provided for both positions. Information: 410-760-9679 or aachs.org.
