Festival

Friendship United Methodist Church holds its annual Farm Heritage Festival from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at 22 W. Friendship Road. Event includes antique tractors and farm equipment, hayrides, corn shelling, hay baling, a cider press, children's activities, food and more. Free. 'Trunk of Treat'

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach presents this event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the church, 17 Somerset Road in Pasadena. Free event includes crafts for the kids, a costume contest and more. Information: 410-255-5616.

Fall Festival

The Chesapeake Christian Center holds its annual Fall Festival beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at 206 Weston Woods in Pasadena. Children's activities include face-painting, games and free candy. There will be musical entertainment and food. Information: 410-255-3168.

Celebration

St. Paul's Lutheran Church holds its annual "Bless the Years Celebration" Oct. 15-16 at 308 Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie. New pastor

The Rev. James Bishop Sr. has been appointed to Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park. For the past eight years he has served as pastor of Goshen United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg. Worship services are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sundays. All are welcome.
