Awards dinner The 24th annual Youth of the Year Awards Dinner, hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, will be held from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. April 11 at the Sheraton Hotel, 173 Jennifer Road in Annapolis. Shopping spree and fashion show The Republican Women of Anne Arundel County holds its fifth annual "Spring into Fashion Shopping Spree" on April 25 at the Chartwell Country Club, 1 Chartwell Drive in Severna Park. Flower mart The Four Rivers Garden Club will hold its annual flower mart from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 30 outside the Market House at the Annapolis City Dock. For sale will be native plants and perennials from members' gardens, made-to-order May Day baskets, cut flowers and herbs, as well as home-baked breads and cookies. Proceeds benefit community projects as well as the region's historic homes and gardens.
