The Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre's season continues with "Shout! Pool is open

The Dunn Municipal Pool at Truxtun Park is open daily for the summer season until Labor Day at 251 Pump House Road in Annapolis. Hours of operation are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. weekends and holidays; 12:30 p.m.-6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daddy/Daughter Date

The Bowie Baysox will hold Daddy/Daughter Date Night on Friday, July 25, as the team takes on the Altoona Curve beginning at 6:35 p.m. at Prince George's Stadium. Event features a special ticket for dads and daughters and an opportunity to run the bases together after the game. Tickets are $30 and include two box seat tickets, a voucher good for two free hot dogs, two Baysox hats, six Kids Park tickets and a special photo opportunity. Teen workshop

The Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre will hold its annual Musical Theatre Workshop for Teens Aug. 4-8 at 143 Compromise St. in Annapolis. The workshop explores drama and vocal skills, monologues, cold readings, audition techniques and various styles of dance. Through theater games, scene work, movement, improvisation and imagination, students gain a better understanding of the art of musical theater. The workshop culminates in a Broadway-style musical revue with two final performances for friends and family. To participate, students must have completed the seventh grade. Register your bike

The Annapolis Police Department is sponsoring a bicycle registration program. The owner's name, address and phone number and the bike's serial number, manufacturer and color are recorded in the department's database. Registration is available to any Annapolis resident. Operation Paperback

This nonprofit organization collects used books nationwide and sends them to U.S. troops deployed overseas.
