Annapolis Police have arrested a 17-year-old and have charged him as an adult in connection to a June 27 shooting in the Tyler Avenue area of Robinwood.
Police said Damian Stocks, 17, of Annapolis was arrested Sunday evening and charged as an adult with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime and other charges.
He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond, police said.
The arrest stems from an incident on June 27, just after noon, when police were called to the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue for a report of a shooting. Annapolis police found a 23–year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where police said his condition is believed to be stable.
