May Day in Annapolis [Pictures]

Baskets of fresh-cut flowers with colorful ribbons adorned doors of homes and businesses in downtown Annapolis this week, in a May Day tradition in its 57th year. The beautification project begun in 1956 by the Garden Club of Old Annapolis Towne has grown to include a competition for prize ribbons in the city¿s Historic District and nearby streets.
