Sydney Faulcon, Whitney Albert go over 1,000 career points

Sydney Faulcon scored 19 points to take her over the 1,000-point milestone for her career and also grabbed 10 rebounds and led Old Mill to a 52-24 victory over North County on Friday.

Deja Atkinson added eight points and 12 rebounds and Destiny Galloway scored eight points for Old Mill (14-3).

Na’vaye Quarles collected 11 points and Aireona Holland had nine points and 11 rebounds for North County (6-11).

ST. MARY’S 43, SEVERN 25: Whitney Albert scored 13 points and amassed her 1,000th career point to lead the Saints (14-9) over the Admirals (3-19) in the first round of the IAAM B Conference playoffs. Claire Richardson scored 11 points and Karry Kelliher added eight points for St. Mary’s (14-9).

St. Mary’s will play at St. Paul’s on Tuesday in a conference quarterfial.

Julia Christie led Severn with eight points and Sammy Van Gieson scored six.

SOUTH RIVER 60, ARUNDEL 57: Julia Fitzwater led the Seahawks with 22 points in the victory over the Wildcats.

Harley Herndon turned in 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists and Kathleen Sullivan had 10 points and seven rebounds for South River. (17-2).

Heather Middleton had 18 points and six rebounds to lead the Wildcats. Nikki Seven added 11 points, Ariana Harmon had nine assists and Ayannah Matthews had nine rebounds for Arundel (13-7).

SEVERNA PARK 50, ANNAPOLIS 30: Lena McLaughlin’s 10 points, coupled with eight points from Jess Albert, led the Falcons over the Panthers.

Cam Chew provided seven points and Rachel Ward added six points for Severna Park (13-6).

BROADNECK 59, SOUTHERN 55: Ty Washington posted a career-high 28 points and Nicole Hagopian added 20 points as the Bruins topped the Bulldogs.

Devon McCue chipped in with four points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Broadneck (8-10).

Carin Pinkney had 15 points, five assists and three steals, Gianna Kronk added 11 points, three rebounds and three assists and Myranda Hopkins chipped in 11 points, five rebounds and three steals for Southern.

NORTHEAST 45, CHESAPEAKE 43: Mackenzie Coburn led all scorers with 15 points, Divine Carter-Benson had 12 points and Allyson Wills added 10 to lead the Eagles (11-8) over the Cougars.

Corinne Castle had 15 points and 18 rebounds, Morgan Gray had eight points and 19 rebounds and Haley Downin added 10 points for Chesapeake (14-5).

MEADE 64, GLEN BURNIE 18: Destiny Jackson had 23 points, 11 rebounds and a steal and Alexxis Sewell scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs (12-6) past the Gophers (0-17). Sym Bryant-Brown added eight points, seven assists, five steals, a block and a rebound for Meade.

ROCKBRIDGE 45, GREATER GRACE 36: Alanna Craig scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Emma Williams had 14 points and 14 rebounds as the Scots (8-7) moved above the .500 mark for the season.
