Police are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information surrounding the shooting of Marshall University football player Larry Aaron and another person in Severn during a New Year’s Eve party.
Anne Arundel police wrote on social media the department is offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the shooting that happened at a home in the 7800 block of Bastille Road on Jan. 1.
Police said earlier this week that a man and a 17-year-old male were shot during a New Year’s Eve party at the home.
Marshall University confirmed that the man shot was Aaron, a 19-year-old redshirt freshman defensive tackle at the university.
Police said witnesses did not indicate that Aaron was the intended target.
“The police department is asking that anyone with recordings, photographs or information, no matter how insignificant you think they may be, to please contact Detective Pattana of the Anne Arundel County Police Department,” the department wrote on social media.
