Paramedics pronounced Strong dead at the scene.

Strong was struck by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by Norman Faulkner, 42, of Severn. Faulkner, who remained at the scene, was not injured in the crash.

A preliminary investigation found pedestrian error to be the cause of the accident. No charges have been filed against the driver.

A toxicology report will be completed on the victim to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role, police said.
