Two other people were involved in the crash. Gil Westfall, 60, also of Pasadena, was uninjured but his passenger, Robin Westfall, 61, was transported to UMD Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie with serious injuries.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Jones’ vehicle, a 2003 Honda Accord Sedan, emerged from a ramp into the path of a 2009 Ford F-150 pick-up truck, driven by Westfall.

Police said it appears the Honda failed to yield the right of way and speed does not appear to be a factor, though the investigation is still ongoing.
