Anne Arundel County police arrested a Pasadena man early Wednesday with outstanding warrants after discovering he was in possession of cocaine, money and what officers believed to be heroin.

While on foot patrol in the Freetown area around 12:20 a.m., detectives saw an occupied running Honda Accord in the 7900 block of Liberty Circle, where Montrelle Musa’s home is. Detectives knew Musa had outstanding warrants related to a domestic dispute, police said.

Detectives approached the vehicle and saw Corey Sessoms, of Baltimore, in the driver’s seat, who is also known to the detectives, police said.

Both occupants were removed from the vehicle and detained, police said. A K-9 named Maximus scanned the car and alerted the officers and a search was conducted. Inside a compartment of the vehicle was 244 caps of suspected heroin, approximately 91 grams of crack cocaine, 33 Oxycodone 10 mg tablets, 39 purple baggies of crack cocaine and one digital scale.

Also, on the driver’s side floorboard police found two caps of heroin in a napkin and four purple baggies of crack cocaine. And Sessoms had $963 in his possession.

The money and the Honda Accord were both seized.
