Wednesday forecast: Patchy fog then clouds, high near 73

The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 73 and east winds between 5 and 7 miles per hour. There will be patchy dense fog before 10 a.m. Motorists are advised to be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the fog, use low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between cars.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 56 and southeast winds around 5 miles per hour or less. There will be patchy fog after midnight.

Thursday is expected to have patchy fog before 9 a.m. and then become partly sunny, with a high near 75 and winds becoming southerly between 4 and 7 miles per hour.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 62 and south winds around 5 miles per hour or less.
