Wormlike apparatus deployed to check for water main problems

At Morris Rd. near the intersection with Winterbourne Rd. in Leakin Park, the Department of Public Works announced a comprehensive evaluation of large water mains using a state-of-the-art pipe driver which is 12 feet long and has an expandable diameter. It's inserted into pipes and can find leaks and other problems. It's has a battery, transmitter/receiver and locating device.
