As of 8:50 a.m., the rush hour was winding down with just a couple lingering incidents.
The Maryland Department of Transportation is reporting that the accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Loch Raven Boulevard is now cleared.
There's still a disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Liberty Road, however, and now there's another in Anne Arundel County on southbound I-97 at Route50.
The Maryland Transit Administration is reporting that light rail operating on time, but on the Brunswick line, Train 894 left Frederick 50-60 minutes late due to a mechanical issue while coupling with disabled MARC 890. Additional delays were expected due to a signal issue in the Frederick yard. Metro is honoring MARC tickets.
