Death of Lauren Braxton, niece of Toni Braxton, caused by heroin, fentanyl, medical examiner says

The death of Lauren “Lolo” Braxton, the 24-year-old niece of Severn native and Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton, in April was caused by heroin and fentanyl intoxication, a spokesman for the Office of the State Medical Examiner said Thursday.

The daughter of Michael Braxton Jr., Toni Braxton’s brother, was found dead in the kitchen of a home in Maryland on April 29.
