An inmate at a Maryland detention center is dead in an apparent suicide.
The Carroll County sheriff's office on Saturday announced the death of Gregory Green, an inmate at the county detention center.
Green, of New Windsor, was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center Saturday morning for what officials described as self-inflicted injuries. He was pronounced dead and his body was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
