Man dies after stabbing in Randallstown Sunday night

A 28-year-old man died after he was stabbed Sunday night in Randallstown and a suspect has been arrested, according to Baltimore County police.

Officers responded to the 3800 block of Pikeswood Drive for a report of a stabbing at around 10 p.m., said Baltimore County police spokeswoman Detective Cathy Batton.

The 28-year-old had gone on his own to Northwest Hospital and was pronounced dead several hours later, Batton said.

At the Randallstown address, police took a 54-year-old suspect into custody. Batton said she could not identify the suspect, because he has not been charged, except to say that he is the boyfriend of the victim's mother. She said charges were pending.

Police have not released the victim's name because his next-of-kin has not yet been notified.
