City crews respond to E. Baltimore fire

Four families were displaced after a fire in East Baltimore Tuesday.

Fire crews responded at 10:24 a.m. to the 3500 block of E. Lombard Street for a fire, according to Baltimore's Office of Emergency Management and the fire department.

Firefighters found fire showing from the roof of a two-story building, said fire department spokesman Samuel Johnson. It was placed under control at 11:16 a.m. No one was injured but four families were displaced.

The cause remains under investigation.

Officials warned of delays between Highland Ave. and Conkling St. in the Baltimore Highlands neighborhood.
