One dead, one critically wounded in W. Baltimore shooting

An unidentified man was killed Monday and another man was critically injured in the 3500 block of W. Mulberry St., Baltimore City police said.

Police were called to the area, near the Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center, at 9:30 p.m. for a report of aggravated assault. They found the both men suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. The first victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died at 10:24 p.m., police said.

The second victim, whose name and age were not released, remains in critical condition at an area hospital, police said.

Police are also investigating a shooting at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Hilldale Avenue near Druid Hill Park. No further information is available, police said.
