A woman was killed after her car was rear-ended on a highway ramp in Perryville Friday night, according to Maryland State Police.
Mary Marlene Frazier’s Honda CRV was stopped in a turn lane on Maryland Route 222, waiting to go onto northbound Interstate 95 at 5:26 p.m. when it was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, state police said.
Frazier, 63, a resident of Nelsonville, Ohio, was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, where she died.
The driver of the truck, 56-year-old Jeffrey Hoffman of Havre de Grace, was taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del., with non-life-threatening injuries, state police said.
