An Anne Arundel County man suffered life-threatening injuries while cutting a tree Saturday morning, officials said.
The 54-year-old was cutting a tree on the 1300 block of Craig Hill Court in Hanover when he was injured at about 11:15 a.m., said Capt. James Rostek of the county fire department.
The victim suffered "serious and life-threatening head trauma," Rostek said.
Rostek said he did not know whether the man had been hit by the tree or by a chain saw. The man was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
