A county sheriff's deputy and the owner of the apartment on MacAfee Hill Road found the fake grenade while serving an eviction notice, officials said.

Bomb technicians and state investigators were called to the scene and determined the object was a non-explosive device, officials said. Taylor was later arrested in the 13000 block of Ritchie Road, according to the fire marshal's office.
