The teen driver involved in a deadly crash in Chevy Chase last month has succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.
Reynard Osman, 16, of Washington, D.C., died at a hospital on March 28, police said. Two other teens were killed and another passenger was injured in the early morning crash on March 23.
The four victims were traveling through Montgomery County in a car that a patrol officer found had been reported stolen, authorities said. Officers tried to stop the car, but the driver sped away, police said. The car traveled south on Connecticut Avenue before crashing into a tree at Chevy Chase circle and bursting into flames, authorities said.
Officials rescued Reynard and a front-seat passenger. Two teens in the back seat died at the scene.
