Are "Arrested Development" fans ready to start this whole drumroll to its return over again?
They may get to, if plans are finalized to produce another season of the cult comedy favorite for Netflix.
Series executive producer Brian Grazer, in an interview with Bloomberg Television at the Allen & Co. conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, said, "We are in conversations with them to do another. They are interested in doing that."
An appetite for more episodes from Netflix would seem to indicate that the series transplant from network TV to online was a success. Though Netflix has not released any numbers for how many people watched the new season of "Arrested Development," the company is expected to report second-quarter results, including subscriber figures, on July 22.
So far, Netflix has given second-season orders to all of its original series: "Lilyhammer," "House of Cards," "Hemlock Grove" and "Orange is the New Black," which received a second season order before the first season had premiered.
