Edgerton Park, New Haven

Edgerton Park is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Sarah T. Crosby Conservatory houses the collection of plants from various parts of the world, including a rainforest exhibit. The Conservatory is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for major holidays. To arrange for a tour, call (203) 624-8941. The Carriage House offers a fine horticultural library, opened Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. Call (203) 624-9377. Free Shakespeare in the Park is also available in summer months.
