Medicaid will expand to cover more low-income adults under reform. A single adult making up to about $15,000 will qualify now. People who are part of a limited state program, Primary Adult Care, will be automatically moved to Medicaid. Adults who were in the state's foster care system also will qualify for Medicaid until age 26. People can find out whether they are eligible and apply for Medicaid through Maryland Health Connection.
