3. TORREY SMITH CONTINUES TO GO LONG. One way to continue to keep defenses honest is to keep taking deep shots to rookie speedster Torrey Smith. In his past three games, Smith has 14 catches for 264 yards and two touchdowns, and he’s averaged 17 yards per catch. He hasn’t faced a cornerback yet who can run stride-for-stride with him.

2. HARBAUGH BOWL IS DECIDED BY TURNOVERS. San Francisco has an NFL-best 26 takeaways and they have posted a ridiculous plus-17 turnover ratio. The Ravens are plus-three in turnover ratio but in their three losses this year, they have lost the turnover battle by a combined 8-2 margin. What happens in this category Thursday night will go a long way in deciding the game.

3. GINN MAKES GAME-CHANGING PLAY. The Ravens did extremely well to contain Cincinnati Bengals returner Brandon Tate last week, but they have an even bigger challenge Thursday with Ted Ginn. The former Ohio State star is fourth in the NFL in kickoff return average and eighth in punt return average. He also has two return touchdowns, which is how many the Ravens gave given up this season.
