Break out the ouzo and dust off your fustanella.  The food itself should be enough to attract anyone (is there such a thing as eating too much spanakopita?), but you can also expect music, dancing, crafts and lots of other celebrating. All hail the beehive hairdos and the cat's-eye sunglasses, as the local icons who are Baltimore's hons enjoy their weekend of unfettered hon-ness. Festivities include the Miss Hon contests, the Natty Boh mustache contest, a “Mashed Potato” dance contest and scads of local bands. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. June 13, noon-6 p.m. June 14 in Hampden, centering on the Avenue (36th Street). Baltimore's silliest good time, rescheduled from earlier in the spring, (when it was postponed while the city was operating under curfew), features teams of racers maneuvering their elaborate pedal-powered creations through various city streets, mud pits and waterways. Ah, the humanity. Starts at 11 a.m. June 14 at the American Visionary Art Museum, 800 Key Highway, then continues on a course that winds through Canton, Fells Point, Patterson Park and elsewhere. avam.org.
