Pairing wine and burgers, Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar is opening its first location in Maryland at Arundel Mills Mall.

The Hanover restaurant is expected to open Oct. 17, when it will begin dishing out gourmet burgers, sandwiches, pies, shakes and floats alongside 23 wine varieties by the glass or bottle.

Zinburger allows customers to build their own burgers, or choose from signature options such as the Zinburger (topped with Manchego cheese, Zinfandel-braised onions, lettuce and mayo); the Samburger (with applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce and thousand island dressing); the Ringer (topped with applewood-smoked bacon, Frank's RedHot sauce, onion rings, pepper jack cheese, lettuce and mayonnaise); or the Blanco Burger (made with pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce and chipotle mayonnaise).

Other menu options include bunless burgers, chili, and sandwiches such as West Coast chicken, French dip, and seared ahi.

In addition to wine, Zinburger will also offer hand-crafted cocktails and beer, including six to eight local and regional brews.

The 5,470-square-foot restaurant will seat 187 guests, and will also include an outdoor patio with a fire pit and lounge seating.
