Garnet is Saintsbury's lighter pinot noir, but this is no lightweight in terms of flavor appeal. It's a succulent, medium-bodied red wine with pure, vibrant pinot noir flavors, including black cherry, wild berries and earth. Garnet has consistently been a top value over the years, but the winery considers its 2009 one of its best ever. I concur.
