Attendees of Baltimore’s 46th Monument Lighting will have a chance to enjoy snacks and drinks from more than 20 local vendors while watching the fireworks display over Mount Vernon Place on Thursday.
The annual holiday event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, culminating with the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore lighting the Washington Monument with more than 16,000 LED lights.
Food and drink vendors include Baltimore Waffle Co., Brew House No. 16, BricknFire Pizza Co., Chick-fil-A, Deddle's Mini Donuts, DelMarVa Popcorn and Nut Co., Dizzy Cow Pizzeria, Ekiben, Flash Crabcake, Gypsy Queen Cafe, HomeSlyce, Koopers Chowhound, Lexington Market, Mexican On The Run, Nando's Peri-Peri, the Green Bowl, Thin Blue Smoke, the Urban Oyster, the Verandah, and Woody's Roadside Cantina and Zeke's Coffee. London Court Beverage Bar Service will provide beer and wine for the event.
The event will incorporate the parks on the north, south and west sides of the monument. While food, beer and wine will be available in all three parks, most of the food vendors will be located in the west park near the stage. The Whole Foods Market Family Area in the south park will offer arts and crafts, face painting and photos with Santa.
Nearby, the Walters Art Museum will also stream the lighting and live performances during an indoor free festival from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The live streaming begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Graham Auditorium.
