Metallica to live stream rehearsal before Baltimore concert

Metallica's rehearsal session ahead of its Baltimore concert next week will be broadcast live on its Facebook page and metallica.com, the veteran metal act announced via a news release on Tuesday.

The rehearsal special, called "Now That We're Live," will begin streaming at 9 p.m. May 9.

The quartet will be practicing ahead of its May 10 concert at M&T Bank Stadium, the opening date of the group's "WorldWired" North American tour. The special will include performances of four full songs, including Metallica's current single, "Now That We're Dead," according to the release.

Metallica is touring in support of the band's November album, "Hardwired … to Self Destruct." On May 10, the group will be joined by opening acts Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat. Tickets are on sale now.
