The owners of Waterfront Kitchen have signed a lease for the "signature" restaurant space at The Shops at Canton Crossing, according to Neil Tucker of Chesapeake Real Estate Group, one of the developers of the 325,000-square-foot-center retail center under construction on Boston Street.

The restaurant will fully occupy a 4,030-square-foot building that will anchor The Shops at Canton Crossing's public "pocket park," according to Tucker.

Chuck Nabit and Michael Klein, the owners of Waterfront Kitchen, operating as Mission Driven Dining II, LLC, have also signed a lease for the 450-square-foot kiosk building that will sit across from the signature restaurant, according to Tucker.

Nabit and Klein were not available for comment about their plans for the kiosk or the signature space, which Tucker said is expected to open in spring 2014.
