Meet your menus: Valentine's menus from Donna's and Waterfront Kitchen

Those Valentine's Day menus keep coming in. Tartare is trending.

Donna's sent over its Valentine's Day menu, which it will be offering beginning Friday.

The four-course fixed-price menu begins with a choice of scallop ceviche, oysters on the half shell, grilled oyster mushrooms and foie gras poached in Sauvignon Blanc with pickled kumquats and baby arugula.

The second course is either a puree of asparagus soup, a salad of avocado, blood orange and hearts of palm or beef tartare. And the main course is a choice of sauteed veal medallions, pan-seared skate wings, chicken roulade or butter-poached prawns. A dessert course follows.

The cost per person is $44. The Valentine's Day menu is available at Donna's Cross Keys location only, but the Charles Village and Columbia locations will be offering special Valentine's Day items, too.

The new Waterfront Kitchen in Fells Point will be marking ts first Valentine's Day with a three-course fixed-price menu. The cost is $59, and $79 with suggested wine pairings.

First course options include Choptank oyster and jumbo shrimp on ice for two, a winter radish salad, a persimmon salad with purple basil and beef tartare with pickled celery, quail egg yolk, herb aioli, beet paint and toast points.

Entrees include a 32-ounce porterhouse for two, a winter spice-rubbed Amish quail and a spaghetti squash nest with deep-fried egg. The dessert course options include raspberry mousse cake and dark-chocolate fondue for two.
