Here's a round up of our week at Midnight Sun:

Miranda Lambert talked about her show at 1st Mariner Arena and coming up with awesome puns, like the title of her new album "Four the Record." Here are pictures of her show Thursday night. Dru Hill also performed this week - the pictures are here.


Speaking of concerts: Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller will be Pier Six Pavilion's first show of the season. Other concerts were announced: Bruce Springsteen is coming to the Verizon Center, as is Red Hot Chili Peppers. And Rick Ross will be at DAR Constitution Hall.

Bruce's tour comes three years after he played 1st Mariner - pictures from that show are here.  The Dew Tour is planning a family-friendly music headliner this year. We reviewed Cass McCombs at Ottobar.


Flying Dog Brewery is planning an ambitious rollout of 20 beers this year. Nicholas Piscatelli, proprietor of Redwood Trust, lost a libel suit against Baltimore City Paper. Meanwhile, he still can't sell his big club.

Music videos were released: Rome Cee released "Something Beyond," off his upcoming mixtape.Dope Body collaborated with puppet show Showbeast on its new music video. And Los freesyled on XM's Shade 45.

We talked to some of dubstep's rising acts.

We reviewed Federal Hill bar Cowboys & Rednecks. Even though the Ravens won't be at the Super Bowl, some Marylanders - like O.A.R. - will be performing.
