The pub is on the BC Connector and sizable at 3,712 square feet, with a separate 1,075 square foot lounge area.

A soft opening was held Wednesday. A grand opening is to be determined.

The restaurant is operated by the Firkin Group of Pubs, based in Ontario, Canada. The pub promises a "modern take on traditional British pub fare served in an eclectic, and fun environment."

The pub will feature a biplane on a 1,200-pound steel pedestal in the center of the concourse. There will also be bowler hats and plane headlamps for light fixtures. The electric decor is suppose to be reminiscent of the London Underground, which is part of the British rail system.

The menu will include English flare such as beans and mash, cottage pie and bangers, and fish and chips. There will also be staples such as assorted appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Finer fare will include salmon and sirloin.

Drink offerings include ales, crisp lagers, smoky porters and strong IPAs.
