Sun Club has been touring around the country and in Europe since the release of last January's "Dad Claps at the Mom Prom" EP. Before that, the band released the "Beauty Meat/Language Juice" seven-inch single in August 2013.

The artist Dave Matthews founded ATO Records in 2000, and it is currently a division of major label RCA Records. Sun Club now appears on a roster with critically acclaimed acts including Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket and Baltimore's J. Roddy Walston & The Business.

Today, Sun Cub plays the Palisades in Brooklyn, N.Y. The band kicks off its fall tour with the Districts Sept. 26 in Ithaca, N.Y. No Baltimore date has been announced yet, but the group is scheduled to play D.C.'s 9:30 Club on Nov. 2.

At the Sweetlife Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion in late May, Sun Club performed an exuberant set that seemed to win over new fans in the process. Read more about the band's set here.
