Rising singer/songwriter Charlie Puth will headline the 2016 Maryland State Fair Concert Series on Sept. 3.
According to a press release issued Friday, tickets for the 8 p.m. show will go on sale 8 a.m. April 12 at marylandstatefair.com. Prices range from $40-$50. Indie-pop band the Score will open for Puth. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Puth, who played Rams Head Live on April 2, is best known for collaborating with Wiz Khalifa on the hit "See You Again," which was included on the soundtrack to the film "Furious 7" and topped the Billboard singles chart for a dozen weeks. Puth released his debut album, "Nine Track Mind," in January.
He also collabored with Meghan Trainor on "Marvin Gaye."
Previous Maryland State Fair headliners include Justin Bieber (2010), Carly Rae Jepsen (2013) and Fifth Harmony (2015).
The fair will be held at the state fairgrounds in Timonium from Aug. 25 through Sept. 5.
