One of the owners of Kumari, a Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Mount Vernon, has opened a second restaurant. The new Kumari is in the Southside Marketplace in South Baltimore.
When Kumari opened in Mount Vernon in 2003, there were already two other Indian restaurants within two blocks. There aren't as many good Indian options south of Federal Hill, though.
Kumari in Riverside is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. A buffet is available on weekdays for $8.95 and weekends for $10.95. The best news of all? The new Kumari delivers.
