Restaurant options for the day after Thanksgiving

Baltimore restaurants are offering special brunch service and extended hours on the day after Thanksgiving.

Johnny's in Roland Park is hosting a Black Friday brunch, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring $1 espresso shots and a selection of Bloody Mary drinks.

The Food Market in Hampden usually serves an a la carte brunch on Friday, but on the day after Thanksgiving, it is serving a special $20 brunch buffet between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Two-dollar mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available, and a portion of the day's proceeds are being donated to the Hampden Family Center.

RA Sushi in Harbor East is extending its normal happy hour to run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. During happy hour, selected appetizers and sushi preparations are priced between $3.49 and $8.99 and selected drinks are priced between $3.75 and $8.

No Idea Tavern in Federal Hill will offer all-you-can-drink Bloody Marys and mimosas for $10 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The brunch food menu will also be available.

All three Miss Shirley's locations (Cold Spring Lane, Inner Harbor and Annapolis) will be open for business on Friday for their regular hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Golden West Cafe in Hampden is opening one hour early, at 9 a.m., on the day after Thanksgiving.

And if you're feeling the need to detox a little, you can check out the grand opening of Plantbar, a new juice and smoothie bar in The Belvedere Square Market from Daniela Troia, the executive chef and owner of Zia's Cafe in Towson.

Plantbar will have made-to-order and create-your-own juices, superfood smoothies, wellness shots, elixirs and acai power bowls. Plantbar hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
