Never count Timothy Dean out, but this looks ominous.
A reader Tweeted a photograph of a sign she says is in the window of Timothy Dean's Prime Steak House in Fells Point:
Closed
Property of Premier Bank 202-772-3712
No trespassing
For Sale
If this does conclude Timothy Dean's adventures in Baltimore, it won't be for the chef's lack of trying. Dean managed to knock Prime off the auction block in Sept. 2010, sparing it just in time from foreclosure by the bank that had been awarded a $1.3 million judgment against Dean and his real estate company. As Laura Vozzella reported then Dean had already "endured multiple setbacks," including the closure of a Washington, D.C. restaurant, as well as Prime's Eastern Avenue forerunners, Timothy Dean Bistro and T.D. Lounge.
