In what is easily the concert of the season, Jay-Z and Kanye West perform Tuesday at 1st Mariner Arena. The two are promoting their collaboration, "Watch the Throne," which was released earlier this year and divided critics who either loved its ambition or were disappointed with the sum of its parts. The concert, though, is a meeting of two titans of the industry. Also this week: Halloween parties finish up, Oxes, Mister Heavenly, and dance parties at Lith Hall, Club Hippo and the Get Down.

On Monday, Halloween parties continue in Baltimore at the Ottobar, Golden West and Sidebar.

On Tuesday, Jay-Z and Kanye West perform at 1st Mariner Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St.. They'll be at Verizon Communications" href="http://www.baltimoresun.com/topic/economy-business-finance/verizon-communications-ORCRP016243.topic">Verizon Center, 601 F. On Wednesday, post-hardcore Bay Area band Loma Prieta perform at Charm City Art Space, 1731 Maryland Ave. 7 p.m. Donations suggested. Also: the monthly gay-friendly party Peer Pressure returns to the Get Down. 10 p.m. Free.

On Thursday, New Jersey rockers Screaming Females perform at Golden West Cafe, 1105 W. 36th Street. 10 p.m. $8.

On Friday, Deep in the Game at Club Hippo has a bunch of guests: TT the Artist performing live, and Nate Fowler, Oxes' guitarist, DJ'ing. Plus, the regular DJs, Schwarz, Mark Brown and Cex. Hippo, 1 West Eager St. 11 p.m. $5

, post-punk Baltimore band Oxes is back in town after a bunch of European shows. They'll play the G-Spot, 2980 Falls Road. The band is promoting two new vinyl records they've put out with Friends Records. Thank You will also perform. 8 p.m. $10. Also:
