Nando's Peri-Peri will open its second Baltimore location on Wednesday in Harbor East.
The new 122-seat location is next door to the new Hyatt Place hotel at the corner of South Central and Fleet street.
Known for its flame-grilled, marinated Peri-Peri chicken, the first Nando's restaurant opened in 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa and has since spread to 23 countries and five continents.
Nando's Peri-Peri made its U.S. debut in 2008 with the opening of a store on 7th Street in Washington's Chinatown. There are now 21 restaurants in and around the Washington area including the Baltimore stores and ones in Towson, Arundel Mills, Laurel and Waugh Chapel.
The chain is opening three stores in Chicago this year.
