Mount Everest Restaurant is moving into the Hampden space that housed Alchemy, which closed recently.According to liquor board documents, the new restaurant is working to open at 1011 W. 36th St.Alchemy closed its doors this summer after six years on the Avenue. The restaurant has another location, Alchemy Elements, in Bel Air.Mount Everest Restaurant specializes in Indian, Nepalese and American food. The restaurant has two other locations in the area — at 7927 Belair Road in Nottingham and 4907 Frankford Ave. in Baltimore.The owners could not immediately be reached for comment.
