Morris Day and The Time to perform Prince tribute in Baltimore

Morris Day and The Time will stop by Baltimore to play a "Purple Rain" tribute to Prince, according to a news release.

Secret Society, a band that plays jazz, R&B, hip-hop and pop, also will perform.

Prince, the iconic pop star known for hits including "Purple Rain" and "Little Red Corvette," died April 21 in Chanhassen, Minn. He was 57.

The show will take place on July 1 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore's Cherry Hill neighborhood. Early bird tickets cost $40.
