Mallow Crunchies land in White Marsh, at a new production facility

Nikki Lewis is ready for the public to check out the new production facility for Mallow Crunchies, her made-from-scratch version of Rice Krispies Treats. The public can stop by the facility today until 5:30 p.m.

Open house hours at the new White Marsh plant, which Lewis is calling The Mallow Bar Production House, are  Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The production house is located in Baltimore Crossroads, a new mixed-use commercial development on White Marsh Boulevard. Lewis' facility is in an office-park setting within that development.

Lewis has carved out a small retail space and cafe in the front of the production house where customers can sit with a cup of coffee and a Mallow Crunchie, or one its spin-off products, which include Mallow Softies and s'mores.

The new production house for Mallow Crunchies will allow her to expand her business, Lewis said.
