The Lord Baltimore Hotel has a new executive chef. Frank Ziegler, a native of the Alsace region of France, will oversee all of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including French Kitchen, LB Tavern, LB Bakery, banquets and room service.
Ziegler's resume has three distinct periods: early years in France, when he trained with or worked under various Michelin Star-rated chefs; a middle period, working for various hotels and resorts in North America; and, more recently, a hopscotch through such Asian locales as Bangkok, Macau and New Delhi.
Most recently, he was the executive chef at the five-star Pullman Jakarta Indonesia hotel.
Ziegler started at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in early February and will debut his first menu for French Kitchen sometime in March.
