Posted March 25:
Lil Wayne will bring his "America's Most Wanted" tour to Baltimore's 1st Mariner Arena on July 17, according to Young Money's website. T.I. and Future will also perform.
Tickets go on sale April 5, according to the website. 1st Mariner Arena public relations manager Meaghan McCracken could not confirm the July show.
Last Monday, Lil Wayne was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after spending six days in an intensive care unit for seizures, TMZ reported. TMZ said the seizures were caused by a codeine binge, but Lil Wayne's mentor Birdman denied the claim, saying the seizures were due to stress.
Last Friday, Lil Wayne published a video on TMZ that thanked fans for their concern and support. In the clip (which contains explicit language), he appears happy and back to his normal self. Tourmate T.I. appears, too.
Tomorrow, Lil Wayne releases "I Am Not a Human Being II," his 10th studio album. I spent all weekend with it, and now, I will rank the songs from best to worst (because, why not?). Given Wayne's recent output, the album is surprisingly solid (although the near-constant references to drugs can get uncomfortable in light of his recent hospital trip) mainly because he's rapping over strange beats. Weird production has almost always served Wayne well, and this album is no exception.
